Job Description

The Miramar Pembroke Pines Regional Chamber of Commerce is seeking an Event Coordinator to begin in August of 2017. This part-time position will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of assigned fundraising events:

  • SteakOut
  • Women In Business Events
  • Sip of Wine, Taste of Heaven
  • Business Expos as well as other events that raise the visibility of the area. Additional duties may include the coordination of member mixers.

  • Ability to deal with unforeseen circumstances expeditiously with minimal stress

Successful applicants must also display strong speaking skills, good listening skills, and strong organizational skills. Experience coordinating events is an asset but is not a requirement of this position. This position averages fifteen to twenty (15-20) hours per week with responsibilities assumed incrementally.
