A Handsome Woman Retreats with Kim Wayans at Miramar Cultural Center

Event Description Known for her performances from In Living Color, A Low Down Dirty Shame, and currently starring in the new film Pariah, by executive producer Spike Lee, and featured in the 2011 Sundance Film Festival, comic actress Kim Wayans performs her original, one-woman production A Handsome Woman Retreats on Friday, February 17 at 8 p.m. In a comedic and poignant evening, she recounts the true story of her experiences at a retreat to battle panic attacks that left her attempting to flee but eventually gaining the upper hand.
